Shipping policy
We aim to process the orders within 1 business day (excluding weekends and holidays, some product collections may take longer, please check below) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped. Potential delays due to a high volume of orders or postal service problems that are outside of our control.
Please note that during peak trading times, fulfilment and shipping times might take longer than usual. The times below are only estimated, not guaranteed.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates - UK only
Shipping costs vary depending on the total amount and the nature of your order. However shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed clearly at checkout. Standard delivery is usually free for orders over £50 (*or accordingly to our seasonal free shipping offers) with 48h delivery service and for recurring orders.
If you place your order before 1pm on a business day we will do our best to ship it before end of day.
Please note, the table below is only an estimate and applies to the products in the following collections: Matcha tea powder, Matcha gift sets, Tools, Hojicha, SALE! Zen Bundles, Japanese experience boxes. Time and price may vary.

Fun-ctional stuff Merchandise collection: flat shipping rate of £3.50. Fulfilment times are usually 2-4 business days, however it may vary and increase significantly during the peak times.
We ship with standard delivery 2-4 business days. All orders containing at least one product from this collection are not eligible for free shipping.
Wholesale collection: fulfilment times vary from 1 to 15 business days depending on availability; shipping is instead calculated based on weight. Please contact us for more details.
International Shipping - Europe and Rest of the World
We are able to ship internationally, however we do not offer international shipping at the moment as a standard service. But please do contact us via email at hello@thezentea.co.uk for a cost and time estimate.
Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Motto Zen ltd is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and they are your responsibility as the customer.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow up to 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within 5 working days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at hello@thezentea.co.uk with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
