The Origin of our Brand
We started The Zen Tea Co. with a simple idea: that finding truly great matcha shouldn’t be so difficult.
We were looking for flavour, tradition, and a sense of ritual.
So we went to Japan to learn from the source. We visited family-run tea farms, walked the fields, and met the Master Blenders behind the craft. We learned the difference shading and harvest timing make and along the way, we discovered that exceptional matcha doesn’t need noise, just care, time, and respect.
The Matcha
Our matcha is grown in Japan, harvested once per year, and stone-milled in small batches to preserve freshness.
It’s always high quality, carefully selected from respected tea regions across Japan, based on taste, harvest time, and growing conditions.
